West Coast are set to recall a host of stars for Saturday’s AFL match against Gold Coast, with skipper Darren Glass, Matt Rosa and Andrew Embley all in line for recalls.
Glass missed last week’s shock loss to the Bulldogs due to soreness, while Rosa (back) and Embley (suspended) were also absent.
All three are on track to return against the Suns, as well as Patrick McGinnity and Brad Sheppard.
Veteran midfielder Daniel Kerr is likely to resume via WAFL ranks after overcoming a swollen knee, but ruckman Nic Naitanui will be rested for at least another week and is no certainty to play again this year.
Midfielder Chris Masten has been cleared of any fractures or bone damage in his injured ankle, but will still miss several games, while Mark LeCras (foot) will also miss at least another fortnight.
Luke Shuey (hamstring) is another key player not yet ready for a return.
The Eagles are three wins adrift of eighth spot, and need to win all five of their remaining games to have any chance of securing a finals berth.
