Eagle Jetta handles AFL axing well

West Coast coach Adam Simpson says recruit Lewis Jetta has handled his axing well ahead of Sunday’s clash with St Kilda at Etihad Stadium.

Jetta was dropped from the side after averaging just 12 possessions a game since crossing from Sydney to West Coast at the end of last season.

Simpson says Sam Butler will replace Jetta this week after the veteran recovered from a groin niggle.
