Veteran Essendon doctor Bruce Reid has left the AFL Commission hearing into the Bombers’ supplements scandal.
Reid and his legal team walked out of AFL House without comment just before 7pm, while club football manager Danny Corcoran left soon after.
Essendon officials started arriving for the hearing before 2pm on Monday.
The commission is hearing a series of charges against Essendon, Reid, coach James Hird, senior assistant Mark Thompson and Corcoran.
The charges relate to the controversial 2011-12 supplements program at the club.
It is expected that Essendon will be stripped of their premiership points and are likely to lose draft picks, while Hird is facing a suspension.
There has been speculation that Reid will resign from his part-time role at the club, which he has held for more than two decades.
Reid is determined to clear his professional name over the scandal.
There is no word on when the AFL might have an announcement on the hearing.
