Bob Murphy’s surgery has gone as planned but the inspirational AFL and All-Australian skipper is no closer to deciding his future in the game.

Western Bulldogs coach Luke Beveridge said there were no hiccups from knee reconstruction for the club captain, with fourth-year midfielder Josh Prudden also going under the knife.

“Now we just need to give Bob some time, and Josh some time as well, to rest and recuperate and then we’ll make decisions,” he said.
