Demons improving despite losses: Roos

Melbourne will be trying to avoid their fourth loss in a row when they take on Geelong on Sunday but Paul Roos says the Demons remain upbeat ahead of the clash.

Roos said his players had learnt a lot from last week’s last-gasp loss to St Kilda with the coach happy with the form his side has displayed without getting a win in the past fortnight.

Melbourne lost forward Cameron Pedersen for the rest of the season after he broke his wrist against the Saints, but regain Chris Dawes from a calf injury for their encounter with the Cats at Simonds Stadium.
