Melbourne have opted not to suspend rising star Clayton Oliver after he was caught drink-driving during the AFL pre-season.
The Demons on Wednesday said 19-year-old Oliver, who lost his licence as a result of the incident last month, had been fined and would also be required to undertake road safety education.
“Clayton is embarrassed by his actions and understands that he has let himself and others down,” Melbourne football boss Josh Mahoney told the AFL website.
