The AFL Commission will decide within weeks whether to expand the AFL Women’s competition next season to 10 clubs.

“We’ll look at conferences, we’ll look at a finals series and we’ll come back with recommendations for both for eight teams for next year and for 10,” AFL CEO Gillon McLachlan on Friday said in Sydney.
