The Adelaide AFL club has revealed injured defender Matthew Jaensch has been caught drink-driving on the southern outskirts of the city.
In a brief statement released on Saturday, the Crows said Jaensch – recovering from major knee surgery – was the sole occupant of a car stopped on Friday night by police.
“The club is extremely disappointed by his actions and views this as a serious breach of our standards, not to mention those of the wider community.
“There will be no further comment at this stage,” the statement ended.
