Adelaide have given themselves a big percentage boost and recorded their largest AFL win of the season with a crushing 119-point victory over Greater Western Sydney at Sydney Showgrounds on Sunday.

The 27.16 (178) to 8.11 (59) scoreline represented a bigger margin than the 69-point wins over Gold Coast and Carlton.

GWS started the first two quarters well, leading 14-8 early on.

They cut a 16-point deficit at the first change to just three with the first two goals of the second quarter, but from then on, it was one-way traffic.

The Crows kicked 18 goals to four in the second half as the Giants crashed to a second straight 100-point plus defeat and 14th loss in 15 games.

Adelaide kicked nine straight goals either side of the halftime break to lead by 32 points at the long break and by 76 at the final change.

Jason Porplyzia and Ian Callinan kicked four goals and Bernie Vince and Rory Sloane three each for Adelaide.

The Crows booted eight goals to one in the third term and finished with 13 goalkickers, while the Giants had eight players that all booted one major each.

GWS started with Jeremy Cameron, Jonathon Patton and Israel Folau all playing up forward.

Folau, who was back in the senior side after a hamstring injury, spent some time in the ruck.

The Crows decided not to risk forward Kurt Tippett, who was concussed last week and he was replaced by Tom Lynch.

Ricky Henderson, who hurt an ankle in the first quarter, was substituted by Chris Knights in the second quarter for the Crows.

The Giants were also forced into a substitution with Luke Power coming on for the start of the second half for Rhys Palmer, who took an accidental knee to the head from Richard Douglas in a second quarter marking contest.
