Adelaide midfielder Brad Crouch has earned round 14’s AFL Rising Star nomination.
The 19-year-old topped the Crows’ possession count with 31 touches in their 28-point win over Gold Coast on Saturday.
He also took six marks and laid as many tackles in just his fifth AFL match.
Crouch debuted in round two against Brisbane but has been with the Crows since he was 17.
Coach Brenton Sanderson said the youngster had been very impressive in his maiden AFL season, particularly in the midfield.
“To Brad’s credit, he’s been able to have a significant impact as an inside ball winner, whilst also providing important run outside the contest,” Sanderson said.
“Brad is a quality young man and an exciting prospect. He has an outstanding work ethic and has taken some significant steps in his development.”
