Richmond captain Trent Cotchin will be absent from Saturday’s AFL clash with Sydney.
Tigers coach Damien Hardwick says the influential skipper has yet to be cleared by his surgeon after suffering a broken cheekbone last month.
Hardwick said ruckman Ivan Maric will continue in the VFL this weekend alongside Reece Conca, who will return in the reserves after an eight-week layoff.
