The AFL tribunal has suspended Essendon veteran Adam Cooney for one match on his rough conduct charge.
It is the first suspension for the 2008 Brownlow Medallist in his 230-game career.
Cooney was referred directly to the tribunal for his high bump on GWS midfielder Stephen Coniglio.
