Cooney only player to front AFL tribunal

West Coast forward Mark LeCras and Sydney defender Ted Richards have accepted their AFL match review panel penalties.

It means Essendon veteran Adam Cooney will be the only player to front Tuesday’s tribunal.

Cooney was referred directly to the tribunal on a rough conduct charge after he cannoned into GWS midfielder Stephen Coniglio at a centre bounce.

LeCras has a one-game suspension for his high bump on Hawthorn defender James Frawley, meaning he will miss Sunday’s crucial Western Derby against Fremantle.

Richards accepted a $1000 fine for forceful front-on contact with Geelong star Tom Hawkins.
