Complacency or a let down after their spirited comeback against Hawthorn in round two, either way a loss to Gold Coast at home was not a good look for the Dogs. They will have their hands full in bouncing back against the Pies at the MCG on Friday night. Collingwood were more than three-goal favourites against West Coast last round and despite a hot start, couldn’t keep up with the Coasters, who punished the Pies’ poor disposals with goals. It’s the Dogs with the recent good record against Collingwood winning 4 of the past 6 between the two clubs. Collingwood has also lost its past two at the MCG to the Dogs by 14 and 21 points. The Wolf doesn’t think it will be three times in a row to the Dogs at the home of football against the black and whites, but they should have enough to cover a big starting line.
