Preview:
Collingwood take on the Western Bulldogs on Sunday, 3.20PM at Etihad Stadium. While the Magpies will go into this match as big favourites, they have been far from brilliant despite sitting in 4th ladder position. The Bulldogs will be desperate to win here after their disappointing loss to the Lions last round, and will give Collingwood everything they’ve got. Saying that, however, with the Magpies 4-1 from their last 5 games and the Dogs 1-5, you would have to put your money on Collingwood.

News:
Hayden Ballantyne is free to play against Richmond this week, with the AFL Tribunal dismissing a rough conduct charge.
Sent directly to the tribunal by the AFL match review panel, the serial pest pleaded not guilty to the charge given for a bump on Adelaide’s Matthew Jaensch.
The pair were both running for the ball when Ballantyne chose to bump the Crow out of contention rather than run directly for the bouncing ball.
Making contact with his head, Jaensch left the field with concussion from the clash.
An Adelaide club doctor’s report said Jaensch was in doubt for this weekend’s game against North Melbourne.
Ballantyne admitted making high contact while bumping but maintained he did so only to give himself the best chance of winning the ball.
At the heart of the matter was whether the pair was “contesting the ball”, with Ballantyne’s representatives successfully convincing the jury he did so.
While Ballantyne will make the trip to Melbourne for Saturday’s game, Richmond duo Ty Vickery and Matt Thomas will be missing from the Tigers’ line-up after accepting bans from the match review panel.
