Collingwood returns from its bye refreshed and eyeing the top of the ladder as it faces St Kilda under the lights at Marvel Stadium on Saturday night. The Magpies head into the clash riding a five-game winning streak, most recently edging Melbourne by a single point on King’s Birthday. Their resurgence has been built on defensive steel, conceding just 68.2 points per game across that stretch.

In contrast, St Kilda’s scoring woes persist. The Saints have averaged only 70.8 points over their past five outings and were comprehensively outclassed by the Western Bulldogs in Round 14, falling by 72 points. They’ve won just once in their last five matches.

However, the Saints can take heart from their Round 2 upset of Collingwood, where standout performances from Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera and Jack Higgins guided them to a 15-point win.
