Collingwood and Geelong are set for a blockbuster clash at the MCG on Saturday night, with both teams arriving in contrasting form. The Magpies are flying high, stretching their winning streak to six with a commanding 107-66 win over Essendon on ANZAC Day. Steele Sidebottom starred, amassing 35 disposals, 598 metres gained, and 15 clearances, while Jamie Elliott booted five goals. Sidebottom’s run of form has been outstanding, notching 26 or more disposals in three consecutive games for the first time since 2020.

Geelong, meanwhile, stumbled last week with a 94-76 defeat to Carlton, halting their own three-game winning streak. However, the Cats have had the better of recent encounters, winning five of the past seven matchups against Collingwood, including a 91-71 triumph at the MCG last season.
