Carlton’s tough start to 2025 continues as they look to avoid further disappointment against Collingwood at the MCG on Thursday night. The Blues suffered their third consecutive defeat with an 83-75 loss to the Bulldogs, once again letting a half-time lead slip. Now sitting at 0-3 for the first time since 2019, the pressure is mounting on coach Michael Voss.
Collingwood, meanwhile, comes into the clash fresh off a bye, having edged out the Bulldogs 76-70 in their last outing. Last season, the Magpies claimed victory in both meetings between the two rivals, with Nick Daicos proving instrumental—averaging 30 disposals, 548.5 metres gained, and 15 contested possessions across the two games.
For Carlton to avoid a fourth straight loss, they must find a way to contain Daicos and rediscover their winning form.
