Hawthorn coach Alastair Clarkson has savaged Wayne Carey after the commentator claimed Cyril Rioli might want to end his AFL career early.
Carey claimed Rioli is homesick for the Northern Territory and there might have been some coercion from the Hawks before the star signed his latest deal.
Speaking after Sunday’s win over West Coast, Clarkson said Carey’s claims are “bull—-” and he should be held to account.
