Geelong have lost defender Jared Rivers for Sunday’s AFL match against North Melbourne with a knee injury.
Rivers played his first match for the Cats in the epic Easter Monday win over Hawthorn at the MCG.
He told Triple M he has fluid on his knee, but hopes to only miss the Etihad Stadium clash with the Kangaroos.
The former Melbourne backman joined the Cats through free agency.
