Luckless Geelong forward Daniel Menzel has a groin injury and will not play in Friday night’s AFL preliminary final against Sydney.
Menzel, who has had four knee reconstructions, and Tom Ruggles will make way for Lachie Henderson and Jed Bews.
Sydney have lost co-captain Jarrad McVeigh to a calf injury and have dropped Toby Nankervis, with Kurt Tippett and Zak Jones taking their places. .
