Carlton’s Carrazzo retires from the AFL

Carlton veteran Andrew Carrazzo has announced he’s retiring and will play his last AFL game on Saturday when the Blues take on Hawthorn at the MCG.

Carrazzo, 31, has played 193 games for the Blues and won the John Nicholls Medal as the club’s best and fairest in 2007.

The former vice-captain retires after more than a decade with Carlton, playing during an era where the club has experienced limited on-field success.
