This will be the first time Carlton and St Kilda have met at the ground for premiership points since Round 20, 2003 when the Saints demolished the Blues by 91 points.
That is highly unlikely to happen on Saturday night.
While the Blues are the clear favourite at $1.35 in our market, the Saints have caused a major upset against the Dees and almost got over the line against Fremantle last week.
Carlton however were sensational last week getting one-up over the Crows after last years Grand Final flogging.
The Blues kicked the first three goals of the match and managed to hold off any challenges from Adelaide with one of the clubs best wins in their AFLW history getting the job done by eight points.
It was also the first time that Carlton had beat Adelaide in the AFLW.
The Saints go into this game coming off a heartbreaking loss to Fremantle at Moorabbin.
Having led for most of the day, the Saints lost the game with a cruel 50 meter penalty which managed to get Freo into the game and a hit the post shot from Freo’s Gemma Houghton broke St.Kilda hearts.
Since joining the AFLW this season the Saints have proven to be a side not to underestimate.
The bookies have the line -9.5 in favor of Carlton and based on recent form the Saints are in in the game until the final siren and it’s worth backing them at the line in this clash.
