Brisbane will aim to tighten its grip on a top-four berth when it takes on an under-siege Carlton outfit at Marvel Stadium on Thursday night. The Lions have made Docklands a fortress in recent years, winning 11 of their past 13 games at the venue—including three on the trot by an average of nearly 58 points.

That spells trouble for a Carlton side battling form and scrutiny, with three straight losses by an average margin of 39 points further turning up the heat on coach Michael Voss.
