Carlton have secured young Irishman Zach Tuohy for a further three years.

Tuohy earned a contract at the Blues until 2016 after an impressive start to the 2013 season.

The 23-year-old defender is in his fourth AFL season but it’s his first on the Blues’ primary list after three years as an international rookie.

He has played 40 AFL games, including all 10 this season, after first catching the eye of recruiters while playing Gaelic football.
