Carlton Blues vs North Melbourne Kangaroos Preview

Carlton and North Melbourne will go head to head at an empty Marvel Stadium on Saturday afternoon and it’s a big test for both clubs.

Carlton have won three of their last four games but if they can’t beat North Melbourne then it’s all for nothing.

North have found some form recently too, they beat West Coast in Perth a couple of weeks back and have looked far from being the easy beats they once were.

This is a game Carlton simply can’t afford to lose, I’ll back them in but I’m happy to stay out of this one.

Market Update: All the money was for Carlton throughout the week, that was up until news broke that their star forward Harry McKay would be a late withdrawal.

The Blues opened at $1.68 and were as short as $1.39 during the week. That news has since seen them drift back out to $1.59.

North are at $2.37 but  I suspect there will be more fluctuations before the ball is bounced.
