Carlton Blues vs Melbourne Demons 2013 AFL Round 6 preview and tips

Barring a miracle or disaster, depending on which side of the fence you view this game from, it’s hard to see this game resulting in anything other than a comfortable victory for the Blues.

The Demons earned themselves some reprieve from a disastrous season with a win over GWS a fortnight ago but were immediately brought back down to earth by the Lions last week 122- 94.

Carlton, who lost their first three matches, were able to register their first win over the West Coast Eagles in Western Australia a fortnight ago and consolidated that win with another, when away to the Crows last week and victorious by 32 points.

Admittedly, neither the Eagles or the Crows are in good form at the moment but these two wins were exactly what the Blues required as in the coming weeks they have Lions, Suns and St. Kilda before a potentially horrid run of matches that include Essendon, Hawthorn, Sydney and Collingwood.

They’ll need to win this and in good style to put themselves in a positive position moving forward.

TIP: CARLTON -56.5 @ $1.90
