The case for Tom Boyd’s senior recall rests with his Western Bulldogs AFL teammates, who will decide his fate on Tuesday night at a meeting.
Bulldogs coach Luke Beveridge said the club was “almost ready” to put his altercation with teammate Zaine Cordy behind them, but would await the verdict of his playing group before considering him for Saturday’s match against Gold Coast.
Beveridge also said a cracked rib would stop Tom Liberatore travelling to Cairns for the match, but it wasn’t expected to sideline him for more than a week.
