Lance Franklin will play his first AFL pre-season match on Friday against Greater Western Sydney after recovering from shoulder surgery.
Franklin has been hampered since undergoing an operation to repair a tear in his shoulder joint in October, missing the Swans’ pre-season opener against North Melbourne earlier this month
“He’s been back in contact for a couple of weeks and (is) ready to go,” Swans assistant coach Henry Playfair told reporters on Monday.
