Collingwood coach Nathan Buckley has scotched a suggestion that the AFL club should consider trading Travis Cloke.
Commentator Justin Dunstall raised the radical idea, saying the key forward would be great value and give the Magpies valuable early draft picks.
Earlier on Tuesday, Collingwood president Eddie McGuire said it had not been discussed at the club, but added it was not an insane idea.
Buckley went further with his rejection of Dunstall’s proposal.
“It’s laughable – Travis is a leader of the football club, he’s one of the best power forwards in the competition and he’s part of our plans (for) our future,” he said.
