He was ousted by Ollie Wines tonight, but Marcus Bontempelli has opened TAB’s favourite to win the 2022 Brownlow Medal.

The Bulldogs star, who finished second to Wines in this year’s award, is the $6 favourite ahead of Wines and tonight’s third placegetter Clayton Oliver, who are both at $7.

Sam Walsh, who finished fourth on 30 votes despite his side not making the finals, is at $9 along with Oliver’s Melbourne teammate Christian Petracca.
