Preview:

Brisbane’s good players in Dayne Zorko and Dayne Beams have lifted their performances over the last three weeks and a number of their youngsters are adjusting to the level.
The Lions will have to match Sydney’s midfield which are more experienced.
Buddy Franklin, who has become just the second player since Tony Lockett to score 300 goals for two different clubs, will be trying to restrict his possessions closer to goal.

AFL News:

Sydney superstar Lance Franklin has been cleared of any wrongdoing over a collision that left Fremantle’s Joel Hamling concussed.

Franklin’s swinging left elbow made contact with the defender’s jaw in the second quarter of the Swans’ win at the SCG.

But the star forward is free to play against Brisbane after AFL match review officer Michael Christian deemed he was seeking to evade a tackle and his actions weren’t unreasonable in the circumstances.
