Fremantle coach Ross Lyon says anyone who boos Adam Goodes from this point on is a racist and a bigot.
Goodes has been granted indefinite leave from the Swans after being worn down by relentless booing from opposition fans, which he believes is racially motivated.
“There’s no ambiguity anymore,” Lyon said on Friday.
“So from here, if you continue to boo Adam Goodes, well, you’re a racist and you’re a bigot.
“And that would take this country back to the white Australia policy in 1967.
“It’s offensive what’s occurring, and it’s wrong.
“Ignorance is no excuse.”
