Bombers up for Pie fight on Anzac Day

Essendon skipper Brendon Goddard believes the Bombers are capable of pulling off an Anzac Day upset against under-siege Collingwood.

Essendon were highly competitive against Geelong for three quarters last week and Goddard says they are capable of winning their second game of the season if they can sustain that effort for four quarters.

The Magpies have come under intense scrutiny after a disappointing 1-3 start to the season but Goddard says it’s only a matter of time before they find form – he just hopes that doesn’t happen against his side at the MCG on Monday.
