Beveridge backs AFL shot clock

Western Bulldogs coach Luke Beveridge wants the AFL to keep the shot clock on the scoreboard during matches.

There has been plenty of criticism of the new initiative after North Melbourne’s Mason Wood kept an eye on the clock as it ran down at the end of their tight win over St Kilda.

“Keep it. It happens once, let’s not jump and think we need to change it. I think the shot clock is a good thing,” Beveridge said.
