Suspended Bomber Michael Hibberd has requested a trade from Essendon ahead of his return from a doping ban.
Hibberd has informed the club he wants a “fresh start” and says he holds no ill feeling towards the Bombers following the 2012 supplements scandal.
The 26-year-old was among 34 past and present Essendon players banned from AFL for 12 months by the World Anti-Doping Authority.
