Gold Coast coach Rodney Eade is backing Gary Ablett to make a full recovery from his latest injury setback.
Ablett will see a surgeon next week after injuring his reconstructed left shoulder during last weekend’s win over Brisbane, ending his AFL season early for the third consecutive year.
Eade says he has no concerns over the 32-year-old’s long-term fitness and he’d be more concerned if Ablett’s legs were starting to fail.
