Four former Adelaide Crows stars and two Port Adelaide legends have been inducted into the South Australian National Football League (SANFL) hall of fame.

The league on Tuesday bestowed the honour on Andrew McLeod, Mark Ricciuto, Ben Hart and Simon Goodwin from the Crows along with Warren Tredrea and Gavin Wanganeen from the Power.

McLeod won back-to-back Norm Smith medals in Adelaide’s two AFL premierships and was a five-time all-Australian.

Ricciuto captained the club for 312 games and was named best and fairest three times while Hart was the club’s youngest ever player and Goodwin also a former captain and dual premiership player.

Wanganeen played in premiership winning sides at both Essendon and Port Adelaide, won a Brownlow Medal and was the first indigenous player to play 300 AFL games.

Tredrea also played in the Power’s only AFL premiership in 2004 and holds the club’s goal kicking record.

Also inducted into the hall of fame by the SANFL were officials Don McSweeny and Kevin Duggan and long-serving state league umpire Richard Williams.
