Fremantle forward Michael Walters and Carlton defender Zach Tuohy have both accepted reprimands to charges emanating from practice matches, freeing them up to play in the opening round of the AFL home and away season.
Walters pleaded guilty to engaging in rough play against West Coast’s Brandt Colledge, earning him a reprimand and 93.75 carry-over points.
Tuohy received the same punishment for striking Western Bulldogs forward Stewart Crameri.
Walters will be a key figure for the Dockers in the season-opener against Collingwood at Etihad Stadium on Friday night.
The much-improved Tuohy will play for the Blues in their round-one home clash against Port Adelaide on Sunday.
