Due to the likelihood of Steele Sidebottom being unavailable for Collingwood on Friday night, Essendon are now $2.80 chances at TAB to upset the Magpies ($1.44) in their Round 5 encounter at the MCG.
The Bombers were $3.20 on Monday morning but have tightened as Sidebottom has been one of the best onballers since the resumption of the 2020 AFL home-and-away season.
The Magpies are still strong favourites but have drifted from $1.35 to $1.44 as they attempt to bounce back from last Friday night’s two-point loss to GWS at Giants Stadium.
