Preview:
The Western Bulldogs take on the Crows in the first Sunday match of round 6, 1.10PM at Etihad Stadium. This is quite a close match-up, with the 15th placed Bulldogs taking on the 13th placed Crows. Even though the Crows will be expected to win this one, the Bulldogs have showed some promise this season and can’t be counted out. The Dogs were sloppy in defence last week, however, and the likes of Tom Williams, Michael Talia, and Easton Wood will have to do much better if they want to stop an in-form Patrick Dangerfield and an increasingly solid Crows attack.

News:
Adelaide coach Brenton Sanderson says it was a case of not letting a loved one down.
Sanderson sensed his Crows players, led by Patrick Dangerfield, were hell-bent on proving their love for Scott Thompson in his 250th AFL match.
Dangerfield kicked five goals in a best-afield 33-disposal display as the Crows celebrated Thompson’s milestone with a 65-point thrashing of Greater Western Sydney.
“We did focus on doing our very best to put in a good display for Scotty Thompson, who has been one of our very players in the club’s short history,” Sanderson said.
“I know those midfielders, they were fired up today. They love Scotty Thompson and they weren’t going to let this game slip today for their mate.
“He has been an enormous part of their development … and we saw them all lift today.”
While Dangerfield was outstanding, so was Thompson: he collected 38 disposals, including 11 contested, and won nine clearances to mark his milestone.
After three losses to start their season, Adelaide have now banked two wins in a row in a season which Sanderson said was hard to gauge.
“I have been really surprised with some of the results, there are sides getting blown out one week and then winning by a margin the next – it’s an unusual season to read at this stage,” he said.
