Preview:
There’s only nine rounds remaining of the 2013 season, so for lots of teams, it’s time to get serious. The first match of the weekend is between Carlton and Collingwood, kicking off on Friday night, 7.50pm at the MCG. A great way to start the round, both teams have a great chance to take the points here if hungry enough. This is one of the greatest rivalries in the AFL, with the Blues currently in ninth place on the ladder and the Magpies just in front in eighth. Both teams have been inconsistent this year, and with Carlton having lost their last three matches, Collingwood might have enough to make it through.

Carlton Blues favourites to beat Collingwood Magpies in AFL 2013 Round 15
Collingwood may be winning the banter battle on Twitter, but punters are tipping it will be Carlton who has the last laugh on Friday night, with the Blues favourites at $1.87 with online bookmaker sportsbet.
With money virtually even at the beginning of the week, the Blues have been well backed over the last 48 hours as Collingwood remain $1.93 outsiders.
“This is virtually a final with both teams having so much to play for, but punters seem convinced that Collingwood’s poor form will continue and Mick Malthouse will get some revenge over his old mob,” said sportsbet.com.au’s Shaun Anderson.
While the Blues are favourites to win on the field, Collingwood look likely to maintain their dominance off it, with @CollingwoodFC priced at $1.33 to have more followers on Twitter compared to @CarltonFC ($3.00) by the Grand Final.
In the other big match of the round, Hawthorn have seen more punter interest and have firmed from $1.72 to $1.70 over Geelong who are out from $2.10 to $2.15.
With both of these matches set to be classics, sportsbet.com.au will be refunding head to head bets if the margin is under 20 points!
