We officially have our 2021 AFL Grand Final teams locked in with both the Melbourne Demons and Western Bulldogs earning a spot in ‘the big dance’.

I don’t think anyone saw these two teams winning their preliminary finals in the fashion they did, both thrashing their opposition.

After Friday night it looked as though Melbourne would start this game as the short priced favourites, that was before the Western Bulldogs won their game in a similar fashion.

The Demons will however start the game as favourites, they finished on top of the AFL ladder and have had an easier run into this game.

The Western Bulldogs have had to win 3 finals to get here. They will benefit from the bye week ahead of the AFL Grand Final though so it’ll be interesting.

Really hard to find to much to separate these two teams, at their best both are near unstoppable.

I’m going to back the Demons though, their midfield is probably the best in the league and if they can win the contest they should win the game.
