AFL Dogs rule out Johannisen, Roughead

Western Bulldogs skipper Bob Murphy admits there are nerves at Whitten Oval ahead of their first AFL finals appearance in five years.

“A bit like the night before Christmas kind of nerves,” he said.

The Bulldogs play Adelaide on Saturday night, with coach Luke Beveridge ruling out Jason Johannisen and giving Jordan Roughead just a one per cent chance of playing.

Beveridge said veteran trio Murphy, Dale Morris and Matthew Boyd should be fine to return after sitting out last week’s loss to Brisbane, with Stewart Crameri also looking good to overcome a corked leg.
