AFL captaincy won’t change new Roos leader

North Melbourne midfielder Jack Ziebell has vowed to continue his hard-edged approach after being named the AFL club’s new captain.

Ziebell, 25, succeeds Andrew Swallow after the veteran stepped aside at the end of last season.

Robbie Tarrant, who won his first club best and fairest award this season, was named vice-captain with Jamie Macmillan and Shaun Higgins deputy vice-captains, and Swallow rounding out the five-man leadership group for 2017.
