Sydney forward Lance Franklin has named coaches Alastair Clarkson and John Longmire as the greatest influences on his AFL career..
Franklin, who made his debut in 2005 for Hawthorn against Sydney at the SCG, spent his first nine seasons at the Hawks under Clarkson before joining the Longmire-coached Swans.
“They’ve taught me a lot across my journey and that’s something that I’m very grateful that I’ve had two unbelievable coaches,” Franklin said.
