Whether it’s due to Port Adelaide’s top form or Hawthorn’s injury woes is debateable, but either way, online bookmaker sportsbet will be starting the Hawks as outsiders for the first time in almost two years.
Priced at $2.90, they are outsiders this week for the first time since Round 17 2012, with the Power firm favourites at $1.42.

- Port Adelaide v Hawthorn: The Hawks are outsiders for the first time since 2012, but it’s not due to a lack of money from punters. The Power ($1.42) are the best backed, but the Hawks have firmed slightly from $2.95 into $2.90.
- Gold Coast v Western Bulldogs: In a sign that punters aren’t keen, the Dogs ($4.20) are the least backed team of the round, with ten times the money on the Suns at $1.23.
- Carlton v Adelaide: Punters think the Crows are on a roll, with double the money on them at $1.65.
