Round 1 week 1 preview:

· Collingwood v Fremantle: The Dockers enter this game as $1.72 favourites, but there has been more money and double the amount of bets placed on the Pies at $2.12

· GWS v Sydney: Not surprising that the Swans are favourites, but there has been some money for the Giants which has seen their price firm from $12 to $11. The line is set at 50.5 points, with punters tipping the Giants will get within that

· Gold Coast v Richmond: The Suns have good history against the Tigers, but all the money has been for Richmond in this one. One punter has bet $4,000 at $1.53 on the Tigers

· Carlton v Port Adelaide: Despite the Blues being $1.62 favourites, punters cant split this one, with the money virtually even. Port have come in from $2.40 to $2.30.

In Premiership betting, Hawthorn have been the best backed team and are $4.75 favourites ahead of Fremantle ($5.00), Sydney ($6.00) and Geelong ($10).

The summer has also seen Sportsbet receive some unusual bets.
