Addison cut by Western Bulldogs in AFL

Utility Dylan Addison has become the final player cut from the Western Bulldogs playing list in the lead-up to next month’s AFL national draft.

Addison played most of his 88 senior games for the Bulldogs as a defender, before being moved forward later in his career.

The 26-year-old was selected by the Bulldogs at No.27 in the 2005 national draft and made his AFL debut in the following season.

Experienced midfielder Daniel Cross is expected to join Melbourne in the coming days, while Patrick Veszpremi, Lukas Markovic and Nick Lower were also not offered new deals for the 2014 season by the Bulldogs.
