Gold Coast Rodney Eade has given captain Gary Ablett the all clear to play in the Suns’ AFL season opener against Melbourne.
Ablett sat out the entire pre-season as he recovered from a shoulder reconstruction but he trained on Tuesday and Eade said he would definitely take on the Demons at the MCG.
He won’t be rushing back young gun Jaeger O’Meara, saying the 2013 Rising Star winner will come back through the reserves after off-season knee surgery.
